Lesson 2.5: Interactions Between American Indians and Europeans

Lesson 2.5 introduces students to various kinds of interactions between American Indians and Europeans during the colonial era. These interactions include cooperation (The Covenant Chain), conflict (King Philip's War and the Pubelo Revolt) and assimilation (The Brafferton Indian School). Students practice the skill of sourcing and evaluating a document's credibility by reading an account of King Philip's War.
