Lesson 2.4: Transatlantic Trade

Lesson 2.4 introduces students to the concept of mercantilism and the transatlnatic trade. Students trace the development of British economic policiy toward the colonies by analyzing "The Boston Declaration of Grievances" and applying the concept of salutary neglect. Students write a paragraph analyzing continuity and change in Britain's economic policy toward the colonies.
